A gorgeous chawan tea bowl, crafted in Brooklyn and wood fired in Peekskill, by Kettl co-owner and Creative Director, Minami Mangan. Minami's studio Soto Ceramics is based in Brooklyn, New York and focuses on wheel-thrown and hand built pottery. This particular piece is from her Summer 2024 collection, comprised primarily of unglazed and wood fired works. The unpredictable nature of woodfired pottery yields pieces that are ripe with singular character that present beautifully on the wheel built forms of the collection.
