Tiny & Mighty — My favorite kyusu that I own

I’m absolutely in love with my Jinshu Gyokuro Tea Pot No 4. It brings me so much joy when I brew the mind-blowing Asahi Gyokuro I got a couple of weeks ago. I’m equally amused because my hands are on the smaller side and it looks like a normal-sized kyusu when I hold it. Beautifully crafted, the mokage pattern draws you in.

Perfect tiny kyusu for all that Dentou Hon Gyokuro I just bought

Nice tea deserves a nice pot. This tiny flat kyusu is exactly what I was looking for and beautiful, thank you skillful artist. It was well packed, and shipped promptly. I find ‘Mogake’ tecnique both intriguing and beautiful, with nice color contrast specific to this item. That technique gives a pot its own ‘finger print’ or individual identity. This pot is light weight and is quality. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Surpasses all of one's hopes

This piece is above and beyond everything I could've expected. Slowly petting The outer eggshell texture like Leonidas in the wheat fields of Sparta will elicit the euphoric sensations only ecstasy can bring to your fingertips. The thunder color mogake is awe inspiring everytime I marvel at it. I brew all Japanese green tea in this, even in kouridashi style. Ice will surprisingly survive in this pot for some time. No matter the parameters, I always get an THICC elixir that almost always never incorporates air bubbles. I nicknamed my #4 seto :)

We have had requests for very small, Gyokuro focused Kyusu and we are excited to have commisioned one. A beautiful piece from master potter Seiji Ito, better known as Jinshu. With a capacity of 1.7oz / 50cc, this is designed for the highest grades of Gyokuro. Jinshu employs the "Mogake" technique of draping seaweed over the pot before firing. This leaves a beautiful, organic pattern on the lid and body of the pot. Beautifully balanced with a perfect pour.
