Nicely made red matcha bowl

I love the color of this bowl. It is very well made. I love the red color and the different Gohonde circles in red, the color gradations and drips make it unique. It's easy to make a frothy bowl of matcha in it and a pleasure to drink from it. Aside from there being no stamp from the artist (which is important to me), I am more than pleased with this bowl. However, Kettle should be more aware of their offerings being stamped in order to assure authenticity.

$90.00

A favorite style of ours - Kohiki has its roots in Korean pottery. Kohiki refers to ceramics made with clay rich in iron - hence the orange hue - and a translucent glaze. This series of bowls was handcrafted in Saga prefecture in southern Japan. The high walls, sturdy foot, and wide bottom makes whisking a perfect Matcha easy.

Available alone or with 20g of Hanaka Matcha

Each bowl is handmade and unique and will vary slightly in size and finish.

5.25"W x 3.1"H
