About Koharu Shincha | 小春新茶

Koharu is a celebration of Spring. Koharu translates to "Little Spring" in english and was harvested on April 16th, 2021 in the area of Joyomachi in Fukuoka prefecture. Made as a blend from select bushes, it has a radiant aroma and lingering mouthfeel. Koharu exhibits the very best of Fukuoka and brews up with ease. We invite you to enjoy a new season. After 2020, We all need it!

Recommended for: Koharu is a medium bodied Shincha that is silky and easy drinking. It also does remarkably well as a cold brewed tea. The color, aroma and flavor are well integrated and the blend rewards without needing to be overly finicky about the brewing parameters.
