A first for us in 2023: tea from the majestic island of Yakushima off the coast of Kagoshima. Grown in a subtropical environment, Kuritawase is an early budding cultivar orginally from Kagoshima. Known for being naturally sweet with a clear fragrance and mild astringency. It is an honor to offer this unique cultivar and consider it an exciting addition to our catalog.
