Minamisayaka is a rare cultivar developed for the growing conditions in Miyazaki that was officially registered in 1991 after two decades of research and cultivation. Grown by the Sakamoto Family in the town of Gokase, the oolong preparation of this tea presents the inherently complex and floral profile of the cultivar. Another display of expert advanced processing by the Sakamoto Family, Gokase Minamisayaka Oolong adds a beautiful dimension to our growing catalog of oxidized teas.
