A beautiful Chawan tea bowl wood fired in Dosenbo by artist Yoshiyuki Shimizu. This unique salmon color glaze is similar to hagi glaze. The color of the whisked tea in the bowl is radiant. Suitable for Koicha. Pleae note this piece has crackled glaze and clay that is a natural reaction to wood firing and is not a "chip" or does not in anyway compromise the integrity of the piece.
This does not come with a kiribako (signed wooden box). We can special order a box from Shimizu san for an additional $50. Please inquire if you would like one.
