Class | Matcha Teas of Uji
Synonymous with the best quality tea, Uji has a long tradition of tea production and is very well known as a famed area of Matcha and tea production. In this class, guests will learn why Matcha from this region is held in such high esteem, the cultivars associated with its terroir, and the famed producers pushing the craft forward. A comparative tasting of various single cultivar Matcha offerings from the Kettl catalog will comprise most of the session, making for an immersive experience. While this class is designed to complement our Matcha: An Introduction class, it is a great stand-alone session for those looking to dive deeper into their journey and explore some of the most prized teas of Japan.
The class is 90 minutes long and features an info session, tasting, and a small dessert pairing.
