Zach had the pleasure of meeting Miyazaki san in the winter of 2015. Revisiting his collection almost a decade later has revealed a quantum leap in the character and depth of his teas. This unique tea is comprised of leaves and stems from mature tea plants harvested every three years. This long form growth allows the tea to both mellow and concentrate sweetness prior to being deeply roasted. Richly complex and Smoky with notes of stewed fruits.
