

Miyazaki Kamairicha
This traditional Kamairicha was sourced during our 2024 harvest trip from the Sakamoto family in Gokase, Miyazaki. We were blown away by the Sakamoto family's traditional preparation of this pan-fired style. In contrast to many teas produced in Kyushu today, this tea represents a much leaner style, focusing more on the delicate sophistication of the Yabukita cultivar instead of a deep umami and rich texture. The Sakamoto family continues to produce teas that celebrate the unique terroir of Miyazaki and we are delighted to share this best-in-class offering with you.
