Description Description

This handmade yunomi was crafted exclusively for Kettl by master potter Yoshiyuki Shimizu using clay called kutani from Ishikawa. Shimizu-san chose this clay to create a unique, clean, and beautiful piece. This is an ideal size for an everyday tea cup that retains heat for a warming handheld experience.

Yoshiyuki Shimizu trained under Atsuya Hamada, the son of renowned Living National Treasure Shoji Hamada. He now creates his work from his studio in Dosenbo, Minamiyamashiro, located in the Uji region.
