Hakuji Small Chawan - Yoshiyuki Shimizu

A hand made tea bowl with a classic shape in a new size. This small Chawan embraces the same shape and ergonomics as a full size chawan just with a scaled back volume. The shape still allows for vigorous whisking and the delicate glaze makes achieving the perfect foam a breeze. A Kettl favorite for the home and our go to while travling.

Yoshiyuki Shimizu studied under Atsuya Hamada, son of Shoji Hamada, a living national treasure. Shimizu san now works out of his own studio in Dosenbo.
