Tsutsuji is a hand-picked sencha from the mountains of Yame. Grown and processed specifically to be showcased in tea fairs and competitions throughout Japan, Tsutsiji is laser-focused yet round on the palate, with balanced umami and a verdant sweetness reminiscent of sugar snap peas. The careful cultivation and expert processing of this 100% Saemidori sencha is apparent in the unfolding complexity and depth of flavor. A true gem in our catalog that we are happy to offer yet again.

Shincha is an indicator of the arrival of spring and this young, fresh green tea is sold for only a small window of time—roughly a month. Domestic pre-orders will ship once the tea arrives in our Brooklyn warehouse. We expect the tea to arrive within the next 10 days.
