This tea bowl was wood fired over five days in late spring of 2024. The unique combination of clay and ash glaze imbue the piece with an enchanting finish that is simultaneously refined and raw. Hand thrown by Kettl co-owner Minami Mangan at her studio Soto Ceramics, this chawan was made specifically for ease of use when whisking traditional Matcha. One of a kind.
