Kettl Founder Zach Mangan discovered these precision-engineered aluminum tea caddies while traveling through Kyoto during his 2024 sourcing trip. The quality was immediately apparent in the hand. These tea caddies are made in Gifu prefecture, just north of Nagoa, by a company that primarily produces airplane parts and wanted to branch out to create an item for daily use.
