We are very excited to invite you in for this special, limited, and collaborative class with one of New York's most highly regarded purveyors of Taiwanese tea, Té Company. In this guided tasting session, participants will explore a range of rare and seasonal teas, showcasing the artistry of Japanese and Taiwanese tea traditions. We will taste 8 varieties of tea — from delicate and verdant sencha and umami-rich gyokuro from Kettl, to the floral, nuanced oolongs and hand-picked oxidized offerings from Té Company. Té Company’s signature house-made Linzer and Taiwanese Pineapple cakes will be served alongside their teas.

Whether you're a seasoned tea drinker or new to loose leaf, this tasting is designed to deepen your appreciation of terroir, processing techniques, and flavor profiles. Expect an intimate, meditative session filled with aroma, conversation, and discovery.

Each guest will receive two 20 gram samples of tea provided by Té Company and Kettl to bring the tasting experience home.

Founded in 2012 by Elena Liao and Frederico Ribeiro, Te Company sources some of the most remarkably nuanced teas that Taiwan has to offer. Paired alongside their famous, traditional and delicate, house made, Taiwanese sweets, Té has become a tea drinkers institution that we admire and respect. This guided session invites you to explore a range of rare and seasonal teas, showcasing the artistry of Japanese and Taiwanese tea traditions.
