Handcrafted in the Akita Prefecture in northern Japan by the Fujiki Denshiro Shoten company who have been producing cherry bark caddies for over 200 years. Cherry bark breathes exceptionally well making it an optimal material to help regulate the moisture content of the tea stored inside. We find the exterior balances a rustic aesthetic with an understated elegance. A functional piece of art to be used daily.
