Hatsutsumi Shincha (Pre-Order)

Hatsutsumi is a rich and elegant Shincha, produced by the Yamaguchi Family in their fields deep in Okuyame in Fukuoka. Cooler nights and short, sunny days result in a slower maturation process for the plant, which in turn yields and exceptionally rich cup with a heady depth of flavor. A tea that we look forward to every year—we couldn't think of a better selection to usher in the bounty of the new harvest that Hatsutsumi. 

Shincha is an indicator of the arrival of spring and this young, fresh green tea is sold for only a small window of time—roughly a month. Domestic pre-orders will ship once the tea arrives in our Brooklyn warehouse. We expect the tea to arrive within the next 10 days.
