This innovative and expressive sencha comes to us by way of Yoshiyaki Hiruma, one of the most experimental and forward thinking Japanese tea producers working today. This particular selection utilizes both deep steaming and controlled withering via ultraviolet light, using a system Hiruma-san designed himself, to imbue the tea with floral undertones, an intense freshness, and a crisp texture. A perfectly balanced sencha with a remarkably unique expression.

Yoshiyaki Hiruma's teas are some of the most coveted in our catalog and have been in high demand since their last appearance on our menus. In celebration of their imminent arrival of these limited offerings, we're launching the teas from Hiruma-san's 2025 harvest with pre-orders. The teas are currently being air shipped directly to our Brooklyn warehoue and will ship upon arrival.
