A French-trained chef and cookbook author based in New York City, Anita Lo is best known for her work at Annisa, a contemporary American fine dining restaurant in the West Village, which she owned and operated for 17 years, receiving a three-star rating from the New York Times and a Michelin star for 9 years. Lo was the first female chef to collaborate on a White House State Dinner under the Obama Administration and was knighted to the Order of Agricultural Merit by the French government. She has appeared on numerous television shows and films, including Top Chef Masters, Iron Chef America, and The Heat. She authored Cooking Without Borders and SoLo, a Modern Cookbook for a Party of One, Eater’s Cookbook of the Year. Lo regularly hosts culinary tours around the planet with Tour De Forks. Lo is the Culinary Director at Stylus NYC
Stylus is a new members-only acoustic salon and collaboration space on the Lower East Side. The in-house culinary program will feature a contemporary American menu of small plates with a high concentration of Japanese influences, giving a nod to the origins of the listening bars

We are thrilled to announce the newest installment in our Kettl Studio Chef Series, featuring the acclaimed chef Anita Lo, who is helming the culinary program at Stylus NYC. Chef Lo will join Kettl founder Zach Mangan on Friday, May 29th, for two private seatings, limited to just 12 guests each, featuring a special tasting menu and tea pairings from the Kettl catalog and Zach’s personal collection. The Kettl Studio Chef Series is designed to foster exploration at the intersection of tea and cuisine in an intimate and private space, creating immersive and one-of-a-kind dining experiences that can’t be had anywhere else. It is our distinct honor to welcome Chef Lo as a part of this programming.
