We are excited to share a milled Houjicha powder of the highest quality produced by the Tsuji family in Shirakawa, Uji. Made from select first-harvest leaves, our Shirakawa Houjicha powder is expertly roasted to develop a decadent chocolatey profile with notes of toasted nuts and a lingering sweetness. Truly best in class.

Latte Hot: Combine 4g of sifted houijcha powder with 50cc of hot water. Vigorously whisk the powder in a “Z” pattern until a fine foam appears (approx. 15-20 seconds). Steam 240cc of Milk (Oat milk / Nut Milk). Combine, stir, and serve

Iced: Combine 4g of sifted houjicha powder with 50cc of hot water. Vigorously whisk the powder in a “Z” pattern until a fine foam appears (approx. 15-20 seconds). Pour 150g of milk or non dairy milk into a glass with ice. Pour whisked powder into the glass. Stir and enjoy.

Storage: Keep the bag in the refrigerator. After opening, place the package in a ziploc bag before returning to the fridge - this will protect the tea from absorbing any aromas from your refrigerator.
