Learn to prepare beautiful matcha lattes at home in this hands-on workshop at Kettl Los Feliz. Designed as a beginner-friendly introduction, this class focuses on the fundamentals of preparing balanced matcha lattes, with an emphasis on proper matcha preparation and freehand latte art.

Guests will learn how to whisk matcha specifically for lattes and prepare smooth, velvety milk using accessible at-home methods rather than a commercial steam wand. The majority of the session is dedicated to developing freehand pouring technique through guided practice, exploring how milk texture, pitcher control, pouring height, flow, and movement come together to create latte art.

The class is approximately 90 minutes and includes an introduction to matcha, hands-on matcha preparation, guided pouring practice, and a small dessert pairing.

No prior experience is necessary. Whether you're completely new to matcha or simply looking to refine your technique, this workshop will give you a practical foundation for preparing matcha lattes and developing your latte art skills at home.
