We are thrilled to announce the next installment in our Kettl Studio Chef Series, featuring Jorge Luis Pabon, a chef whose relationship with Kettl spans many years. Kettl founder Zach Mangan and Chef Pabon developed a rapport and bonded over tea, food, and wine during Luis’ routine visits to our original location on the Bowery, just around the corner from the Estela, a Michelin-starred restaurant where Luis served as the executive chef. Over time, the relationship evolved from a social one, rooted in a love of all things culinary, to a collaborative one as Kettl was brought on to support the beverage programming at Estela. Luis is now in the early stages of launching a new concept with his wife, Alexis, and we are thrilled to welcome him to Kettl Studio for a special evening that culminates years of collaboration.

Luis will be joining us on Saturday, June 20th, for two private seatings, limited to just 12 guests each, featuring a special seasonal tasting menu and tea pairings from the Kettl catalog and Zach’s personal collection. It's our pleasure to welcome Luis and our guests to Kettl studio for what will be a special installment in our Kettl Studio Series, a program that is designed to foster exploration at the intersection of tea and cuisine, creating immersive and one-of-a-kind dining experiences that can’t be had anywhere else.

Jorge grew up in Puerto Rico, in a household where food and gathering were always central. That spirit continues to shape his cooking today. He’s worked in some remarkable kitchens: El Celler de Can Roca, The French Laundry, Marcus in London, and, most recently, served as Executive Chef at Estela NYC, where he focused on bold, seasonal dishes with global influence. He also helped open celebrated New York restaurants, including Agern, Manhatta, and Great Jones Distilling Co., further honing his craft and leadership in dynamic, high-profile kitchens.
